Happy New Years! There is a lot of exciting news surrounding WSI since the turn of the New Year. Despite the recent polar vortex, we know WSI Sports HEATR® conquers the coldest of the cold. If it works in Minnesota in these elements, it will work anywhere!

First, WSI was featured as cold weather experts in a recent news story by the KSTP Channel 5 News. To read the story, visit http://kstp.com/news/stories/S3271556.shtml or watch the embedded video below this blog. We were outside on a legendary cold afternoon with subzero temperatures and even more arctic wind chills beyond the negative forties. However, the WSI team had a blast shooting the piece with reporter Tim Sherno as we got to run around playing football and staying warm in JUST our WSI base layers!

WSI also had an exciting weekend as we got to watch the San Francisco 49ers wear WSI cold gear as they defeated the Packers in near record low wind chills at the wintery tundra known as Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Even coach Harbaugh was donning our WikMax HEATR® Built in Hooded Shirt during the game.

Also, with the Olympics coming up, WSI is excited to be sponsoring the USA Ski Jumping team and excited to see the athletes perform with their elite cold gear on. Stay tuned for some possible USA-themed Olympic gear to be released shortly before the games.

In other news, the WSI show-team had a very successful trip to Texas for the ABCA national coaches’ convention. We got to cross paths with some of the best baseball coaches from around the country, and some of the best WSI customers around. We even got to snap a photo with Hall of Fame coach Tink Larson.

Coming up, you can look for WSI at the 2014 SIA snow show out in Denver, and can expect many new retailers to be carrying WSI apparel in the near future. As mentioned before, be on the lookout for WSI around the Olympics, and possibly a sneak peak of our 2014 HEATR® line! FEEL THE HEAT
