As advertised by WSI, I found this shirt basically to be as warm as the two layers that I normally wear. The fit around the head and neck are snug enough to keep out the wind but not restrictive. The fit at the end of the sleeves is similarly snug on the wrist but too tight to go over my hands when using the thumb holes.
